Our free range bacon is all dry cured. We do not pump water into the meat and therefore the bacon will not shrink very much during cooking.
This pack contains:
- SMALL: 4 packs of bacon
- LARGE: 6 packs of bacon
Each pack will contain a random selection either dry cured back, streaky, shoulder or nitrate free bacon. This cannot be specified.
Back bacon (middle eye) comes from the loin of the pig and is a very high quality cut. We do not trim the fat from the bacon and we recommend that you do not trim the bacon until after cooking, if at all. Contains 0.3% preservative (sodium nitrite). Average pack size 280g
Chilli bacon is also from the loin of the pig. It is marinated for 48 hours in chilli infused brine to retain a mild chilli flavour after cooking. Contains 0.3% preservative (sodium nitrite). Average pack size 220g
Nitrate Free bacon is cured naturally with just salt and sugar. We do not add any preservative and therefore it has a shorter lifespan. However all bacon can be frozen. Nitrate free bacon can be ordered separately on our website if you prefer. Average pack size 220g
