Our Farm is a 31ha (79 acres) picturesque property situated about an hour north of the bright lights of Wellington. It is a property that struck our imagination as the perfect mixed use farm and events location. It was once used for grazing by most of the animals used on the Hobbit but now has a less celebrity based focus. The beautiful terraced paddocks overlook the Waikawa river and disappear into native bush perfect for trekking or camping. We have excellent equestrian facilities, with a 60x40 arena near the river. Our home is a relocated 1919 cottage with a large deck overlooking the farm and an amazing wrap around veranda were we relax at night and enjoy the peace and tranquillity.
