Shipping policy
Order Schedule
We dispatch orders every Wednesday.
Cut-off for orders is midday Monday.
Orders placed before the cut-off are typically delivered on Thursday. In shorter weeks or around public holidays, delivery may shift to Friday.
Packaging
All orders are packed to keep your meat cold and safe in transit.
We use:
- Insulated foil boxes or WoolPack cartons (wool-lined, recyclable outer)
- Oversized ice packs to maintain temperature for up to 52 hours
All packaging is recyclable, and the wool insulation can be reused or composted.
Delivery
We ship with NZ Post.
- You’ll receive tracking details once your order is dispatched
- Most deliveries arrive overnight (within 24 hours)
- Our packaging is tested to keep products safe for up to 48 hours in transit
If your order hasn’t arrived by 2pm the following day, we recommend you contact NZ Post directly using your tracking details.
We do not deliver orders ourselves and cannot control courier delays.
Rural Delivery
We deliver to rural addresses, but:
- Overnight delivery is not guaranteed
- Rural deliveries are at the customer’s risk
- Rural orders are not covered by our satisfaction guarantee
If you’re rural, we strongly recommend shipping to a work address, friend, or local non-rural location.
Delivery Costs
Shipping is calculated at checkout and typically starts from $15–$40 depending on weight.
- Free shipping on orders over $150 (North Island only)
- South Island shipping is higher due to freight costs
- We do not add margins to shipping, this simply covers courier charges
Pick Up
You can collect your order from Woodys in Levin.
- We’ll email when your order is ready
- Collection hours: 8am – 4pm, weekdays

If something isn’t right, contact us immediately at info@woodysfarm.co.nz.
We’ll assess issues case-by-case, but note:
- Products must remain sealed and refrigerated on arrival
- Rural deliveries are excluded from this guarantee
Important Notes
- Our packaging is designed to handle tough conditions, but it is not a guarantee against courier delays
- Melted ice packs are normal and help regulate temperature
- Always refrigerate your order as soon as it arrives
