The Boston Butt (whole shoulder) is a large, about 6kg, cut of meat that we normally only supply to restaurants and cafes for them to slow cook or BBQ to create pulled pork. Recently we have been asked alot for this cut so we have decided to make it a standard product online. 

Boston butt is the American name for a whole pork shoulder on the bone, it comes from the upper part of the shoulder (front leg) and contains the blade bone. We leave the skin on so that you can cook with the skin on or remove and make crackling separately. Boston butt is the most common cut used for pulled pork, a staple of southern barbecue.

The Boston Butt will vary from 5kg to 7kg and costs $20 per kg. We will charge you for a 6kg shoulder and if the item is less we will refund you the difference. If the item is more that 6kg you will not be asked to pay more - you have been lucky!
